Autobiography

I have lived in Chile all my life, but I wasen't born here, I was born in Lima Perú in 1996. My father is peruvian and my mother is chilean, she married with him and traveled to Perú after the birth of my sister in Santiago of Chile. They lived ten years in Lima in my grandmother's house, where were born my three younger brothers. Now, I live with my family in our house in Santiago city.

In Perú I studied in a private and catholic school, then, in Chile, I studied in the Poeta Neruda school. To the twelve years, my parents decided change me of school and they put me in the Liceo 7 of Santiago, where I graduated in 2015. Then I entered to study Cinema and TV in the University of Chile.

My hobbies are singing, dancing -only in the parties- and reading novels.

    have you ever visted Perú after you left it and meeting your father's family?

The camera as an empowerment tool

My favorite piece of technology is my camera. I liked because I can capture moments in a second, I can capture the past and see it again as many times as I want, I can also make visible situations that I consider important, in that sense it can serve as a tool empowerment of minorities and people who suffer violence to give them dignity through the resignification and photographic reconstruction of all those groups. Besides, the camera, when capturing moments and leaving them retained in time, allows them not to be forgotten. But the camera isn’t who takes the pictures or who filming the scene. It’s the photographer who does it, that is why it’s important to have a point of view that allows this empowerment and fight against violence. So it’s important to know that this piece of technology it’s a double-edged sword.

My experience using blogs

I usually feel that the English is not for me, and since I ingresses at university It has been very difficult for me, so I suffer to much trying to do the best in this class and this semester wasn’t the exception, it has been very frustrating. But the experience of writing blogs has even started to like me a little and I have been able to see my progress, very slowly but surely, I think. Besides, I have been able to write about topics that interest me. I feel that my writing skills have improved considerably, and I love that now I know more words because I have had to look for synonyms to write better blogs. I’ll tell you a secret, a few years ago, my dream was to be beauty blogger. I think that now I have more possibilities. I don’t know what I would like to include in the future, I would have to think about it.
