The camera as an empowerment tool
My favorite
piece of technology is my camera.
I liked
because I can capture moments in a second, I can capture the past and see it
again as many times as I want, I can also make visible situations that I
consider important, in that sense it can serve as a tool empowerment of
minorities and people who suffer violence to give them dignity through the resignification
and photographic reconstruction of all those groups.
Besides,
the camera, when capturing moments and leaving them retained in time, allows
them not to be forgotten. But the camera isn’t who takes the pictures or who
filming the scene. It’s the photographer who does it, that is why it’s
important to have a point of view that allows this empowerment and fight
against violence. So it’s important to know that this piece of technology it’s
a double-edged sword.

I agree with everything you're saying. I think the camera it's a great instrument to show anything you want to depending on your point of view, which makes it very interesting.
ResponderBorrarYes, with a good point of view you can transform a picture into a great instrument to show the violence and fight against it.
ResponderBorrarnot to be forgotten and to be exposed it's so important in our days...
ResponderBorrarI really like your idea, besides that the camera can portray moments and show different visions of the same thing.
